They can either be purchased in a wet form or dry form depending on your application.

Catalysts are mainly used for esterification, alykylation, MTBE, biphenol-A, and alkyl phenol reactions as well as for the manufacture of butyl acetate, methyl acetate and enol.

They can also be used in the dry wash process for the production of biodiesel.
