The Resin Network LLC’s line of biodiesel dry wash solutions focuses on the dry wash purification of biodiesel with Seplite® BD130 resin.
Seplite® BD130 is a dried sulfonic acid resin, supplied in hydrogen form. This resin has been developed to purify the raw biodiesel stream after the phase separation step . The resin has a high loading capacity to adsorb free glycerin and trace methanol and water. Additionally excellent exchange capacity removes residual catalyst, soap and salts that may remain after phase separation so as to meet ASTM D6751 and EN 14214.
Seplite® BD130 is a cost effective competitive equivalent compared to Purolite’s PD206 and Amberlite’s BD10DRY products for the biodiesel dry wash process.
The resin has a long life before exhaustion processing – up to 100 gallons of B100 for 1 pound of Seplite BD130. This specification depends on the level of impurities in the untreated biodiesel.
BD130 Dry Wash Resin is a high capacity dry cation resin, catalyst that functions as an absorbent.
