On the basis of studies of macroporous resin and homoporous resin developed in the past, a new type of resins was formed. The XDA, LX, and LSA series of resins are mostly used for waste water treatment. The XDA series functions as a typical adsorbent while the LSA series functions as a chelating type adsorbent for purification and extraction of specific impurities. The LX series functions as a hyper cross linked polystyrene macroporous adsorbent.
